Western Tigers defeated Guyana Police Force [GPF] 2-0 when the GFF Elite League continued yesterday at the National Training Centre, Providence.
First half goals from Daniel Wilson and Moses Gritten in the 36th and 39th minute sealed the win. It was the sixth win for the West Ruimveldt outfit who ended their campaign in second place on 20 points.
Similarly, Buxton United dismantled Milerock 4-1. Omari Glasgow recorded a double in the 29th and 87th minute, while Paul Kingston and Maurice Barnes scored in the 13th and 56th minute each. For the loser, Keon Sears netted in the 41st minute.
Meanwhile, Victoria Kings defeated Ann’s Grove via walkover, after the latter failed to arrive at the venue for their clash, confirming their relegation from the tournament. The event concludes next Monday at the same venue.
