In yesterday’s Accountability column by Anand Goolsarran headed `The proposed special investigation/value-for-money review of the CJIA expansion project’, it was stated that the contract for the expansion of the Cheddi Jagan International Airport was signed by the then Minister of Public Works, Robeson Benn in Jamaica. In actuality, the contract was signed in Benn’s Georgetown office by then Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Balram Balraj.
