Tiger Bay and Back Circle will face-off tonight at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue, in the final of the Corona Futsal Championships.
Tiger Bay stormed into the final by defeating Stars 8-5 led by their talisman and Most Valuable Player [MVP] candidate Deon Alfred.
He is expected to receive support from the likes of Solomon Austin, Keoma Gravesande and Alpha Fletchman.
Back Circle, which defeated an undermanned Bent Street unit 4-1 will look to Trayon Bobb, Selwyn Williams, Stephon McLean and Quason McAulay who have provided the attacking spark for the East Ruimveldt unit and are expected to play a pivotal role if they are to be successful tonight. The final is pegged for 23:00hrs.
Meanwhile, Bent Street and Future Stars will lock horns in the traditional third place playoff from 22:00hrs. Prior to the main attractions, several exhibition matches will be staged.
Winner of the event pockets $500,000 and the championship trophy, while the second, third and fourth place finishers will collect $250,000, $125,000 and $75,000 each and the respective trophy.
