The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) Chelsea Flower Show was held from May 21 to May 25 on the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London. The location was transformed with stunning displays by members of the RHS and others.
Every year, world renowned garden designers, plant specialists, florists and plant nurseries come together to show off the cutting edge of garden designs and inspirational floral exhibits.
Counted as the most prestigious in the world, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show attracts some 165,000 visitors each year.
The Royal Hospital Chelsea was a hive of activity as plane loads of fresh cut flowers, plants and trees arrived in London. Caribbean and Mediterranean countries as well as Dubai and South Africa were well represented and did themselves proud by winning gold medals. Barbados, Grenada and Trinidad and Tobago all won gold for the 20th time. (To be continued next week)
