A mechanic was yesterday granted bail after he denied ownership of a quantity of cannabis found in a bucket.
It is alleged that Lorenzo Kellman, on June 9, at Iroma Backdam, Mazaruni River, had 132 grammes of cannabis in his possession.
Kellman, 44, denied the allegation.
According to facts presented to the court by police prosecutor Adduni Inniss, the narcotics were found in a bucket that was in front of the accused.
Kellman was later granted $100,000 bail.
His matter is set to be called again on June 21, at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court.
