Junior Golden Jaguars Kelsey Benjamin, Ryan Hackett and Sese Norville are adapting well to the training environment and sessions during their one month training stint with fourth division Brazilian side Madureira Esporte Clube.
This was disclosed by the Guyana Football Federation [GFF] via a press release.
“It is different and challenging from back home but we’re coming through and getting there,” said Norville, sentiments which were echoed by Benjamin and Hackett, the release stated.
The trio was on the bench for the club’s practice match with Qatar, who are participants in the upcoming Copa America Championship. The Brazilian side lost 1-2. The match was witnessed by GFF President Wayne Forde.
The training stint was organized by the GFF following discussions between President Wayne Forde and Brazil Football Confederation [CBF] President Rogerio Caboclo.
