The extradition proceedings against ex-policeman Shawn Darcy Neblett, officially commenced yesterday, with the testimony of the Treaty Officer at the Ministry of Public Security.
Neblett is wanted in the United States for conspiracy to import cocaine, importation of cocaine, conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute, and possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
Attorney Stacy Goodings, who is representing the interests of the United States, told the court that there were a total of three witnesses prepared to testify, however, only one of those witnesses was able to so.
