Seon Paul Singh is currently awaiting sentence for the 2012 killing of his common-law wife, Indrawattie Sugrim, whom he knifed to death on the morning of November 25th.
Throwing himself at the mercy of the court on Tuesday, Singh accepted that on the day in question he stabbed the woman at her Lot 502 Ninth Field, Cummings Lodge, Block ‘Y’ home.
Singh was originally indicted for the capital offence, but opted to plead to the lesser offence of manslaughter which was accepted by Justice James Bovell-Drakes and the prosecution.
