Dear Editor,
Working in another Caribbean country, I have become familiar with the term “ bush lawyer”. It is the legal equivalent of a “ bush doctor”. I can’t help but notice the amount of bush lawyers that have emerged in public, through the media, since the passage of the no confidence vote and the subsequent rulings by our courts including the CCJ. However, it is encouraging to note the almost non-existence of women among the group.
