The extradition proceedings against ex-policeman Shaun Darcy Nebblett continued yesterday with testimony of the Immigration Officer who discovered that he was blacklisted.
Officer Nigel Newton, who is stationed at the Central Immigration and Passport Office and attached to the immigration service at Berbice as the Inspector-in-Charge, took the stand yesterday before Magistrate Faith McGusty.
Newton, guided by attorney Stacy Goodings, who is representing the interest of the United States in the proceedings, told the court the Border Management System revealed on Monday, April 29th, 2019, that Nebblett, with passport number R0681780, was blacklisted. At the time, Nebblett was destined for Suriname.
