The findings of the investigations into the deaths of the three children at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) in January after being administered cancer drugs, is still under review by the Medical Council of Guyana, Head of the agency, Dr Navindranauth Rambarran said.
Rambarran, in a brief telephone interview, said the matter is still with the disciplinary committee being reviewed, noting that a certain process has to be followed.
He noted that there is no timeline on this process and it remains unclear when the committee’s recommendations will be made.
The findings from the investigations have been with the committee for the past month.
