A youth who was found guilty of stealing a gold chain will be spending the next six months in jail.
The sentence was handed down yesterday by Magistrate Rondel Weever to Dwayne Samuels, 21, in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts 8 and 9 on June 27th, 2019, at the end of his trial.
Samuels was charged in April with larceny based on the allegation that on April 2nd, at Industrial Site, Ruimveldt, he stole the gold chain, valued at $30,000, from Amanda Dookram.
