The Den Amstel Community Centre ground tomorrow will provide the setting for the conclusion of the Hamilton Green Inter-Ward nine-a-side competition.
Tomorrow’s event was rescheduled from its initial final match-day of April 28th due to the inclement weather.
In the opening matchup, Mahaicony will oppose Vreed-en-Hoop at 15:00hrs with Soesdyke engaging Liliendaal half-an-hour later.
In the third fixture, Mocha will tackle Charlestown from 16:00hrs, while Pouderoyen will engage Timehri at 16:30hrs and Goed Fortuin will battle DeKinderen from 17:00hrs.
At 17:30hrs, Sophia will oppose Bourda Blues while Den Amstel Back Street will face-off with Zeelugt from 18:00hrs and Uitvlugt will battle Bagotsville from 18:30hrs. The winners will advance to the quarterfinal round. The semi-final round and eventual final will also be staged.
Four substitutions are permitted in this format, with each game running for the duration of 30 minutes via two halves of 15 minutes.
If normal time is unable to produce a winner, sudden death penalty kicks will be utilised to decide the outcome.
Among the players on show tomorrow will be Trayon Bobb and Delon Lanferman.
The winning team will pocket $300,000 and the John Fernandes trophy, with the second place team pocketing $100,000 and the Courtney Benn trophy.
Similarly, the eventual champion and runner-up will receive hampers compliments of Ricks& Sari Ltd.
