A youth began a one-year prison sentence yesterday after he pleaded guilty to the theft of a motorcycle, which he claimed he was returning to its owner when he was hit by a car.
Ken Das, 20, appeared before Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus in Georgetown, where he was read the larceny charge.
It stated that between July 1st and July 2nd, in the vicinity of Charles-town, Georgetown, he allegedly stole the motorcycle, worth $180,000, from owner Andre Haywood.
