The round of 16 section in the boys division of the ExxonMobil U14 Secondary Schools Football competition will commence today at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
At 12:30hrs, Marian Academy will oppose East Ruimveldt while Cummings Lodge will battle Ann’s Grove.
St. John’s will tackle President’s College while Carmel will oppose Golden Grove from 13:40hrs.
In the fifth and sixth matches, Dolphin will match skills with Tutorial while St. Mary’s will face-off with New Campbellville at 14:30hrs.
The final two fixtures at 15:20hrs will pit
North Ruimveldt against Queenstown and Lodge against Charlestown.
Matches in the girls division will also be contested.
The tournament is sponsored by ExxonMobil, Pepsi and the Ministry of Public Health which is promoting physical activities to eradicate Chronic Disease. The MOPH also presents a Haversack and books to the player of the week in both boys and girls’ divisions.
