Guyana’s fittest man, Dillon Mahadeo, will be feeling fresh and confident when he competes at the ‘Olympics’ of Crossfit later this month compliments of DeSinco under the Degree brand.

During a presentation ceremony yesterday at Fitness Express, Sarah Savory, the Senior Brand Manager of the Degree brand, presented a cheque worth $300,000 to Mahadeo, which will aid him on his sojourn to the prestigious Reebok CrossFit Games in Wisconsin, USA, later this month.

Said Savory, “We are confident Dillon, just like Degree won’t let us down.”

She added that with innovative technologies designed to keep you feeling fresh and confident, Degree is the world’s leading antiperspirant brand.

After a rigorous five-week, online-based fitness regime, Mahadeo and Delice Adonis made the cut as Guyana’s male and female representatives at the event, which will take place from July 29th to August 4th.

The Degree sponsorship comes on the heels of Mahadeo and Adonis signing a Brand Ambassador deal with MVP Sports earlier this month.

Savory added that the company is happy to be affiliated with Mahadeo since the brand targets fit, active and sport-related individuals.

Mahadeo expressed appreciation to the company for “helping me to compete at the highest level of the sport” and added that he will do his best to represent the Degree brand, locally, regionally and on the world stage.

He added that at two weeks out, the training intensity has risen and he is currently out of his comfort zone doing a lot of running, biking and swimming.

CrossFit has become one of the fastest growing sports in America and around the globe. The Games feature a set of grueling tests aimed at finding the fittest on earth. Not only does the event attract thousands of athletes, but due to the thrilling obstacles and competitive spirit within, it attracts thousands of spectators and sponsors each year.
