A city magistrate yesterday found a cashier/receptionist and a security guard, who had been employed at the Woodlands Hospital, guilty of stealing a little over $1 million from the institution.
Susan Daniels and Haniff Peters were accused of stealing $1,042,195, which was the property of the hospital, on August 31st, 2017 at the Wood-lands Hospital on Car-michael Street.
The duo learnt their fate in the courtroom of Magistrate Faith McGusty. Sentencing was deferred in order for the court to hear probation reports on the defendants.
