A man was fined $20,000 yesterday after a Georgetown court heard that he threatened to shred his mother to pieces and put her in a freezer.
Robin Mohan appeared in the courtroom of Principal Magistrate Faith McGusty where it was stated that on July 20th at Howes Street, Charlestown, Georgetown, he used threatening language towards his mother.
Mohan pleaded guilty with explanation to the charge. He told the court that his mother is always “on my back” and on the day in question he was upset and said “the eagle will strip chicken” which she took out of context when she made the report. He also apologized stating that he loves his mother more than God.
