GTT mobile coverage will be downgraded in the Diamond, East Bank Demerara Highway.
This is due to the collapsing of a GTT Cell Site Tower across the East Bank Carriage way near Diamond which occurred at 3 am today during bad weather. A statement from GTT this morning said that the damage is being assessed and situation further investigated. Works are ongoing to remove the cellular tower infrastructure at this time. There were no injuries, the statement said.
