A tropical storm in St. Vincent and the Grenadines has forced the abandonment of the first round of the Cricket West Indies “Rising Stars” Regional Under-19 tournament.

At Arnos Vale, the contest between Guyana and Windward Islands suffered a 90-minute delay. The clouds held up for a few minutes which allowed Guyana to win the toss and elect to bowl where three overs was sent down by Qumar Torrington and Leon Swamy to see Windwards off the field at 23-0 due to rain once again.
