I wish to condemn the call by Senior Counsel Marcus to have the Chief Justice (ag) recuse herself from the case brought by Mr. Christopher Ram as to the legality of the House to House Registration.
Ms. George’s comments were only to correct the misrepresentation of her direction to the Parties involv-ed in the case.
Her interpretation on the Carib-bean Court of Justice ruling is also within her right. She was just stating what the ruling was. No grounds for recusal.
This is not just an attack on the professionalism of the Chief Justice, it is an attack on professional in general and on the independence of the Judiciary in particular.
It must be condemned outright because it is an ominous indication of where our country is heading.
All democratically minded and freedom loving people must stand up against this bullyism. All must stand up in defence of our country.
