Dear Editor,
For over 20 years there has been an unlicenced auto body repair workshop being operated at Lot 118 Prospect on the East Bank of Demerara, with banging noises and spraying of vehicles. Neigh-bours decided to report the matter to places like the NDC, public health, the EPA, the police station, the noise nuisance team, and the list goes on.
In 2015 the EPA decided to take the operator to court. The operator was told by the judge to desist but still continues his operations. The noise is unbearable for some old folks.
I hope that this letter catches the eyes of the authority and justice is served.
