Dear Editor,
Believe it or not, I have written on several occasions about not getting water at all at Eccles (address and telephone number supplied). It is very disheartening that I have to keep complaining and would have expected that some inspector would visit the area because this lack of service happens almost frequently. What makes things worse is that the GWI’s office at Peter’s Hall does not answer its telephones.
Peter’s Hall GWI numbers are 233-5042, 233-5044, 233-5024 and 233-6595 (I used to have the cell number of an engineer) and believe me, no one for the past three days has answered the phones, although I kept calling these numbers frequently, every day. What surprises me most is that I used to be able to contact the Shelterbelt in Georgetown at 227-8703-4, 227-8701 & 225-7477 but got no answer from them either. I received a recorded message once but that was all. What else do I have to do to communicate with GWI? Believe me it is very irritating to know you are paying for a service which people are not willing to give. Whilst the politicians are busy canvassing for votes, we are suffering for the want of water.
Yours faithfully,
S.M.V Nasseer
