A team from the Police ‘B’ Division on Sunday conducted a drug eradication exercise at Whim, Corentyne during which they found and destroyed about 300 cannabis plants.
The police said that the exercise was conducted at Whim Crown Dam which is situated some five miles from the Whim Public Road.
The plants measured between one foot and five feet in height and were destroyed by fire.
No arrest was made.
