Dear Editor,
A fairly intelligent person, I am annually completely bewildered by the release of the CXC results by the Ministry of Education. 2019 was no different. Given that entry into the job market and the University of Guyana is five CXC subjects grades 1-3 with Maths and English included, can your newspaper, or the Ministry, say how many of the students who wrote the exams accomplished that feat? I think that should be the most important indicator of how well the students and the Ministry of Education is performing.
