Songwriting

This column today is, virtually word for word, something I wrote recently when a Tradewinds fan overseas, himself venturing into songwriting, wrote me, asking that I elaborate on the process to help him in his efforts. 

Karunaratne leads Sri Lanka victory push in Galle

(Reuters) – Sri Lanka got off to a strong start in their chase for a 268-run victory target after skipper Dimuth Karunaratne and Lahiru Thirimanne frustrated New Zealand with a 133-run opening stand on the penultimate day of the opening test yesterday.

Too many subjects?

Announcing the CSEC results on Wednesday, Minister of Education Nicolette Henry said that this year, 251 candidates had achieved Grade Ones in eight or more subjects of which 55 had gained 12 or more Grade Ones.

All eyes on GECOM
