A Sophia woman accused of stealing money from another woman was granted bail when she appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
Anisa Roberts denied the charge which stated that on August 9th at Sandy Babb Street, Kitty, she stole $60,000 in cash, the property of Candace Strait. The charge was read to her by Senior Magistrate Leron Daly.
No facts in the matter were disclosed. Roberts was granted $30,000 bail and ordered to return to court on August 30th.
