A $1.8 million facility for triage has been commissioned at the Port Mourant Hospital earlier this week so as to improve the comfort of visitors to the institution.
The project was funded by donations from local and overseas-based businesspersons, with the Indo-Caribbean Federation being the largest donor.
During his vacation earlier this year, Doctor-in-Charge of the hospital Devendra Radhay personally sought donors for the project, as he thought the improvements were necessary for the hospital.
