Jonathan Van Lange and Krystian Sahadeo were once again the centrepiece of Guyana’s showing on the second day of the 2019 Caribbean Mini and Pre-cadet championships currently being played in the Dominican Republic after the duo qualified for the semis of the boys’ under – 13 teams category.  The exciting duo, competing as Guyana’s A in the draw, accounted for Jamaica 3-0 to land the last four spots.

Auditors absent from GFF congress

The Guyana Football Federation [GFF] staged an Extraordinary Congress yesterday at the National Research Centre, Woolford Avenue, with the main activity being the presentation of its 2019 budget and the 2018 audited financial statements.  According to the report which was seen by this publication, the projected income for 2019 is $473,115,319 while the estimated expenditure is $472,245,878.  The expenditure is divided into four categories namely – Administration Cost, Referees, Technical Department and Competition Department.
