The Lady Jaguars secured their round of 16 berth in the CONCACAF Girls U17 Qualifiers defeating The Bahamas 3-1 in their final group match yesterday at the Stadion Ergilio Hato Willemstad, Curaçao.
Needing a win to seal their place in the knockout section, Guyana prevailed in the clash of the unbeaten sides led by a double from Jalade Trim in the seventh and 29th minute.
The final goal came from the boot of Jaida Brooks in the 70th minute. With the win, Guyana topped group-D standings with a perfect nine points.
