A 32-year-old woman who was accused of wounding a man during a scuffle was yesterday granted bail after she denied the charge, which was read in a city court.
The charge against Natasha Blackman alleges that on June 19th, in Georgetown, she unlawfully and maliciously wounded Jason Sobers.
Blackman pleaded not guilty to the charge, which was read by Senior Magistrate Leron Daly in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court Two.
The two were reportedly involved in a scuffle when Blackman allegedly committed the offence.
Blackman was granted bail in the sum of $30,000 and was told to make her next appearance in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court Five on September 30th, 2019.
