A labourer has been sentenced to 24 months in prison after being found guilty of break and entry and larceny.
Georgetown Magistrate Dylon Bess imposed the sentence on Aubrey Price, 59, called ‘Stones,’ of Lot 75 Princes Street, Lodge, Georgetown, who was found guilty of two charges.
One charge stated that on February 15th, 2019, at Princes Street, Lodge, Georgetown, Price broke and entered the home of Marsha Baird and stole items worth a total value of $392,000.
The other charge stated that between June 11th, 2019 and June 12th, 2019, at Princes Street, Lodge, Georgetown, he broke and entered Sharon Nurse’s storage bond and stole four cases of Banks beer bottles, valued at $3,600.
Price was sentenced to 24 months for entering Baird’s home and stealing, and six months for breaking into and stealing from the storage bond.
During his arraignment, Price was read a third charge, which had stated on March 15th, 2019, at Princes Street, Lodge, Georgetown he broke and entered the home of Marsha Baird and stole a Rubis gas cylinder, valued at $6,000. Price pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced to one year in prison by Principal Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus.
