The Lucas Stock Index (LSI) declined 0.24% during the first period of trading in September 2019. The stocks of four companies were traded, with 104,587 shares changing hands. There were no Climbers and two Tumblers. The stocks of Sterling Products Limited (SPL) declined 1.86% on the sale of 1,758 shares. The stocks of the Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) also declined, 1.23 shares on the sale of 95,881 shares. The stocks of Republic Bank Limited (RBL) and Banks DIH (DIH) remained unchanged on the sale of 5,000 and 1,948 shares, respectively. The LSI closed at 585.19.
