The Guyana Hockey Board (GHB) is currently putting things in place to resume action in the Bounty Paper Towel men and women’s outdoor and second division, development hockey leagues and the Solo Soft Drinks under-20 men and women’s outdoor leagues.
Preparatory work on the playing surface at the Saint Stanislaus College (SSC) ground and other logistics are currently being finalised to resume the league this weekend.
The first half of the league was completed in May and in second division action, Saints are at the top of the men’s and women’s points table. Meanwhile, under – 20 action will resume with YMCA Old Fort Hockey Club (OFHC) Ballers and Bingo GCC Spartans kickstarting the second half of the league as points leaders in boys and girls categories respectively.
