Kuwait’s new non-resident Ambassador to Guyana, Nasser Riden Al-Motairi had his credentials accepted by President David Granger yesterday at the Ministry of the Presidency.
In his remarks at the ceremony, Granger said that the recent conclusion of a debt agreement between the two countries signed on March 2019 in Kuwait City, and the technical aid provided to Guyana in the past for its infrastructural projects under the Kuwait Fund are tangible results of enduring good relations.
Guyana and the middle-eastern state established diplomatic relations on August 17, 1995, a release from the Ministry of the Presidency noted.
