A jury yesterday found a 16-year-old boy guilty of rape of a child under the age of six and he is expected to be sentenced by Justice Simone Morris-Ramlall on October 3rd.
Trevon Frank was 14 years when he committed the act between December 16th and 30th, 2016 in Linden.
After summing up yesterday, the jury deliberated before returning a unanimous guilty verdict.
The judge ordered a probation report and remanded the teenager to a juvenile holding centre until October 3rd when he returns for sentencing.
