Dear Editor,
Does the caretaker government have the legal authority to make a donation to hurricane-hit Bahamas as it did on the recent telethon?
In a related matter I viewed the telethon for a while, admittedly not in its entirety. I was expecting to see a cross-section of persons representative of different organizations – religious, social, political, etc. – appearing as guests on the panel. After all it was a national effort.
Regrettably this did not happen up to the time I tuned out. Can the organisers say differently?
