Fruta Conquerors and West Demerara’s Eagles FC of Stewartville have been invited to participate in the fourth East Bank Football Association [EBFA]/Ralph Green U11 League currently ongoing.
This was disclosed by a release from the EBFA. According to the correspondence, President of the EBFA, Franklin Wilson, stated that the two teams indicated their willingness to participate in the event and were granted permission as their participation will adds to the overall quality of the competition.
The teams now join Vurlon Mills Football Academy [VMFA] and Riddim Squad as guest entrants to the event, taking the overall tally of participating teams to 12.
The other competitors are Mocha Champs, Diamond United, Samatta Point/Kaneville [SP/K], Swan Football Club, Agricola Red Triangle, Grove Hi Tech, Kuru-Kururu Warriors, Herstelling Raiders and Friendship All Stars.
The winning team and the runners-up will receive trophies and replicas while the third and fourth place finishers will receive medals.
Plaques will be presented to the Most Valuable Player, Best Goalkeeper, Highest Goal Scorer, Most Promising Player, Most Disciplined Player and the Best Coach.
The competition, which is already underway, continues Saturday at the Guyana Football Federation [GFF] National Training Centre, Providence.
