The police yesterday said that Jamal Bazillio C/D “Jammings” is wanted by the police for questioning in relation to the murder of Perion Bobb on 2019/04/21 at Kuribrong.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Bazillio is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-3650, 225-8196, 226-2870, 226-6978, 455-2238, 911 or the nearest police station.
In August, the police said Farouk Khan, whose last known address was Byderabo Road, Bartica, was wanted for questioning in relation to April 21st murder of Bobb.
Bobb was killed after he was confronted by a group of men, in the wake of making a report to the police that persons were stripping a vehicle.
His co-worker, Emmanuel Jeffrey, 60, a miner of Kurubrang and of Good Hope Village, East Coast Demerara, was reportedly abducted by the men afterward.
The murder occurred around 5.30 pm on April 21st, while Bobb was transporting dredging equipment from the Kuribrong Trail to the Kuribrong Backdam for Jeffrey.
His body was later found slumped over the steering wheel of the pickup he was driving.
An autopsy later revealed that he died as a result of gunshot injuries to the chest.
