A Siparuta, Region Six man died on Wednesday after his tractor toppled and pinned him while he was working in the backlands.
Dead is Michael Williams also known as `Mike’, of Siparuta Village.
According to information gathered, the accident occurred sometime on Wednesday.
Stabroek News was told that Williams was working in the backlands when he encountered a difficulty with his tractor after which the tractor suddenly toppled and pinned him to the ground.
The police in the area have launched an investigation.
Williams leaves to mourn his wife, who is a nurse, and his children. He was described as a very helpful man especially in the area of sports in the village.
