National Under – 19 skipper and West Indies youth player Ashmead Nedd says he is firmly focused on making West Indies cricket proud.
Nedd made the comments following the conclusion of the West Indies Under-19 training camp last Sunday during the group’s final practice match at the Coolidge Cricket Ground.
Nedd, along with 21 other young prospects from the region, had 10 days of gruelling training, which introduced some of them to the professionalism and level of cricket expected at the international level. The bunch is preparing for the 2020 ICC Under – 19 World Cup in South Africa.
