The ‘Not In My House’ card originally scheduled for Saturday at D’Urban Park has been postponed to November 23.
According to a release, promoters for the event were faced with last minute issues which would have affected the quality of the event and opted to move the date forward rather than allow the challenges to dampen the event.
The Pro/Am card was scheduled to be headlined by the flashy Dexter ‘The Kid’ Marques and the dangerous Colombian, Jose Antonio Jimenez.
Speaking on behalf of the promotional team, Rudy Ramalingum stated that all tickets that were issued will still be valid and patrons will be updated as to the progress of the event. Peter Abdool, President of the Guyana Boxing Board of Control expressed regret but said he was comfortable with the delay since it would give the boxers and promoters additional time to prepare for a bigger spectacle.
More information of the revised card and other activities will be released shortly.
