Santos and Pele U20 teams reached the semifinals of the 4th annual Limacol football competition following quarterfinal victories Sunday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
Santos whipped Buxton Stars 6-3 with Raymond Bandhu bagging a double in the 84th and 90th minute.
The other scorers were Orin Moore, Jermine Padmore, Rondel Peters and Marcus Wilson who netted in the 17th, 37th, 82nd and 90th minute respectively.
For Buxton Stars, Jamali Major tallied a brace in the eighth and 75th minute while Shemar McPherson netted in the 34th minute.
Meanwhile Pele edged newcomer GT Panthers 4-3 on penalty kicks after regulation and extra time failed to break the 2-2 deadlock.
Daniel Gibson and Dorwin George scored for Pele in the 17th and 46th minute while Sherrol Daniels and Leon Roberts netted in the 84th and 90th+1 minute respectively for GT Panthers.
