The Regional Health Director of Region Six, Jevaughn Stephens, yesterday informed the Regional Democratic Council that the water ambulance which was commissioned in August for the community of Baracara is in need of an engine control module (‘computer box’) for its engine.
The issue was raised by the Zamal Hussain, Chairman of the region’s health committee, who told the council that he was informed that the ambulance has not yet been in operation but is covered and parked in New Amsterdam.
