Today is a red-letter day for makeup artist Nafesah Ladonna Richardson who will launch her MakeUp Glamour Professional Make-Up Studio at 10 am after four years in the profession.
The journey, she confessed, has not been an easy one. “There were so many trials preventing me from doing this, but I keep pushing. It was mostly my friend Yohlanda Kerr [model] who assisted me through it all and was always encouraging,” Ladonna said.
MakeUp Glamour Professional Make-Up Studio brings to the public a wide range of services including bridal makeup, birthday parties and face painting just in time for Halloween celebrations later this month. With the Christmas holidays approaching, MakeUp Glamour is offering great deals and has special packages for staff parties.
Since becoming a makeup artist, Ladonna has provided many courses and on Monday she will be starting new ones. The courses cover beginner and advanced categories. The beginners’ course will focus on concealing and filling of brows, and several other eye techniques while the advanced level courses will cover skin care, types of brushes and many other skills in makeup artistry.
Ladonna has done numerous jobs across Guyana including for some prestigious organizations like the Miss Earth Guyana and just recently for the Miss Region Four team.
