West Ruimveldt, St. Ambrose, St. Agnes, North Georgetown and Redeemer clinched easy wins when the 2019 edition of the Courts Pee Wee U11 football competition resumed yesterday at the Ministry of Education ground, Carifesta Avenue.
West Ruimveldt downed South Ruimveldt 2-0. Akeem Thorn and Emmanuel Phillips scored in the 15th and 21st minute.
Similarly, St. Ambrose made light work of Plaisance via a 3-0 scoreline. Trimayne Bishop netted a double in the 17th and 31st minute, while Keandre Carl scored in the third minute.
Also, St. Agnes dismissed Timehri 3-0. Darius Chester, Cleon London and Shaquille Dalrymple scored in the 18th, 32nd and 40th minute respectively.
Likewise, Redeemer dismantled Ann’s Grove 3-0. Nicholas Watts recorded a double in the 34th and 40th minute, while Degwayne Wong opened the scoring in the 21st minute.
North Georgetown defeated Uitvlugt 2-0. Jaheem Gillard and Manwhar Khan netted in the 17th and 36th minute each while Genesis, Mae’s, FE Pollard and Mocha claimed hard-fought wins.
Defending champion St. Pius and Tucville secured walkovers while Marian Academy and Soesdyke battled to a stalemate.
