With the objective of alleviating child hunger and increasing the rates of school attendance in communities marred by poverty, Food for the Poor Guyana Inc. (FFP) on October 3rd boosted the government’s school feeding programme by handing over of 10 Nutritional Feeding Centres to the Department of Education (DoE), Region 2.
At the Riverstown Primary School, Food for the Poor Guyana Inc. Chief Executive Officer, Kent Vincent officially handed over the kitchenettes to the DoE’s representative Shaundell Hercules, a release from FFP said.
