Grove Hi-Tech, Mocha, Swan and Timehri Panthers-A secured wins when the East Bank Demerara Zone of the NAMILCO U17 Football Championship continued yesterday at the National Training Center, Providence.
Grove Hi-Tech dismantled Timehri Panthers-B 4-0. Rasheed Evans was the architect of the rout with a hat-trick in the 13th, 43rd and 51st minute.
The other conversion came off the boot of Vincent Chin in the 31st minute. Similarly Mocha mauled Samatta Point/Kaneville 5-1.
Tyreek Pryce bagged a double in the sixth and 32nd while Warren Williams added a brace in the 40th and 56th minute.
Adding a goal in the 26th minute was Tyrese Powell. For the loser, Kareem Richmond scored in the 50th minute. Likewise Swan dismissed Friendship 5-2.
Joshua Williams fashioned a double in the 18th and 37th minute, while Kishon Callisto, Kevin Daniels and Delon Joseph scored in the 10th, 45th and 59th minute respectively.
For the loser, Osin Francis and Claude Williams found the back of the net in the 20th and 62nd minute correspondingly.
On the other hand Timehri Panthers-A downed Agricola 2-0. Tyrell Khan and Junior Adams scored in the 20th and 57th minute apiece. Over at the Victoria Community ground in the East Coast Demerara zone, Buxton United crushed Rising Strikers 7-0.
Omari Glasgow recorded a double in the 18th and 35th minute while Jamal Harrigon added two goals in the 20th and 56th minute. Assisting with goals in the 70th and 81st minute respectively were Troni Semple and Tyrese Dennis. Commencing the rout in the fifth minute was an own goal.
