Dear Editor,
The Ministry of Public Infrastructure has noted the concerns of residents in Mocha, East Bank Demerara, with regard to the holes in the access road as was published in a letter in Stabroek News on September 19, 2019 under the heading `Address these potholes on the Mocha Access Road’. We are pleased to inform that works are scheduled to rehabilitate the public road in the near future.
Chief Roads and Bridges Officer, Ron Rahaman, reported to the Ministry yesterday that works are slated to commence on the road in October, 2019.
The Ministry takes this opportunity to thank the residents for remaining vigilant on the needs of their community and would like to emphasize our continued concern for the wellbeing of our citizens.
Together we can and will continue to work towards the advancement of all communities and our country.
Yours faithfully,
Davina Ramdass
Public Relations Officer
