Pouderoyen hurried past Hurry ATE 6-0 Saturday when the West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) Senior League continued at the Goed Fortuin Community Centre Ground.
Morgan Denny led the rout with a double in the 35th and 70th minute, assisted by solitary conversions from Cleveland Walcott, Emmanuel Thomas, Stephon Jupiter and Stephon Fraser in the 13th, 24th, 56th and 60th minute each.
It was Walcott, however, who commenced the whipping with a powerful shot from inside the penalty area past the right side of the goalkeeper.
Walcott hand a hand in the second goal too some nine minutes later after Thomas slotted home after a powerful strike from Walcott was parried into his path.
The score ballooned to 3-0 when Denny bagged his first of two eventual goals, latching onto a pass from the left side before lashing his effort past the custodian and into the left corner.
The score remained unchanged heading into the second period but, following the resumption of the second half, Jupiter converted, weaving past several challenges from the midfield area and placing his effort across the body of the goalkeeper.
A long pass from defender Kayode King, found Fraser who uncorked a powerful volley into the left hand corner, giving the goalkeeper no chance and the contest was sealed when Denny recorded his second goal.
Racing into the area to receive a long pass following a goal kick, he skillfully flicked the ball over the advancing goalkeeper and into the back of the net.
Meanwhile Uitvlugt downed Wales 3-1 in the earlier matchup. Malcolm Dainty, Shamol Smith and Celen Brotherson scored in the 10th, 16th and 31st minute respectively.
For Wales, Kempton Boyce found the back of the net in the 70th minute. The event continued yesterday at the same venue with another doubleheader.
